Sara Minck
Sara has a life long love of fine arts.

She grew up surrounded by fine arts, looking for hickies on fine art reproduction prints with a loop and china marker at age 4 at the New York Graphics Society, Shorewood Print shop because that is where her mother worked. Beyond the free child labor (which she thought was super fun) she was always painting, drawing or doodling; not many 12 year olds were dropped off for nude figure drawing classes but there she was...
Her focus turned to medical image making and the healing arts. Currently serving as the breast imaging navigator at The Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital where she facilitates with breast interventional procedures, acquisition of mammographic images, co-facilitates the breast cancer support group and navigate patients along the continuum of breast care. She also sits on the navigation board for the National Consortium of Breast Centers and is President of the nonprofit BOSOMii, dedicated to breaking down barriers to breast health here in the CT Valley.

She and her husband decided that they'd like to cultivate a creative community and become patrons of the arts in addition to being artists themselves which is when they got involved with the Cultural Arts Commission in Oxford.

Sara lives with her family and pets at RoundHouse Acres in Oxford where she is happy to continue making messes and supporting other living artists and musicians.
